Whispered Oaths : Chains of silk

The story is set around 1915, a time when zamindars and the British had a good relationship, but the rise of revolution in India was also rising. While everyone was protesting outside the four walls of their homes, there was another phase of society where women were struggling within those same walls, trapped in their families. Because of some men's so-called ego and their foolish restrictions and rules. They believed that by doing this, they were protecting women from the outside world. But inside the four walls, there was darkness too. When women were asked to cook, clean, and do everything to make them obedient and submissive, there was one someone who didn't lower her gaze or shut her eyes in front of anyone. She had fire in her eyes. The quiet zamindar's daughter slips into secret meetings at the college and hides banned pamphlets under her silk shawl. Her hopes and dreams were shattered when her father, in the name of politics, forced her into marriage with a British man, all to secure power and influence. She hated the British with every fibre of her being. They symbolized oppression, a constant reminder of the chains binding her people. Her heart was full of rebellion, and the thought of marrying one of them felt like a betrayal of everything she stood for. She was determined to fight, not bow down. Time passed, and days turned into months, then years. Small uprisings started to take shape, a growing resistance among the people against the British. Amidst the chaos, the noise, and the unrest, a flame of love began to grow between two people who despised each other. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't escape the pull of love, a force stronger than their hatred, quietly weaving its way into their hearts. But love demands sacrifice darling.. Chains of Silk - symbolizes: A golden cage-beautiful, but still a prison. A love that is both soft and suffocating. The illusion of freedom under colonial rule. : Arthur x Sarvagya :

Satyaprem: The story of forbidden love

Only those who have a shadow to cling to fear losing it in the dark. But for those who have embraced the darkness, even a moonlit night feels as empty as the abyss for them. ~~ Some say love has the power to heal, but does it truly? There are days filled with hope, joy, and dreams, only to be followed by moments where everything shatters. He walked into my life, and I couldn't help but fall for him completely. The most comforting thing in this world? His deep brown eyes hold warmth that makes my heart flutter every time they find me. But I never imagined that the same hand he once extended toward the one I believed would pull me out of the darkness would be the one to betray me. My heart stopped when he handed me over to that beast. I struggled, desperate to break free. Love is a curse that embraced the pain, yet it still gave me hope, only to crush it. It lingers like a shadow, a regret I can never escape. I loathe the word, but I cannot bring myself to hate the one who made me feel it. I cannot unlove him. His name isn't written in ink on my soul; it's etched deep into my flesh, impossible to erase, no matter how much I try. "Samarpan ki yeh agni kaisi, Swayam ko tyagne ki vedna kaisi, Unhi ke saman swarthi hum kyun nahi, Pathar ki bhanti yah hriday kyun nahi?" ~Satyaprem~ "Her tears have a price. Can spill blood for her or bleed myself" Vikram & savyi
